Egypt Itinerary June 15-24, 2023

Day 1: Thursday June 15 - Overnight in Cairo

• Welcome to Cairo, Egypt where your breath is about to be taken away at first glance of the pyramids! 

• Arrive and our personal driver will take you to your hotel that has pyramid views, where you will leisurely meet your leaders and fellow teacher travelers.

Day 2: Friday June 16 - Overnight in Cairo

• Breakfast at Hotel, Welcome Orientation

• Visit Saqqara Pyramid and a carpet school, then the three pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx

• Dinner at your leisure at hotel, great time to call family

Day 3: Saturday June 17 - Overnight in Cairo

• See the world’s largest Ancient History Museum. The newly built Grand Egyptian Museum

Day 4: Sunday June 18 - Overnight in Cairo

• Beautiful Day with our Egyptian Friends

• Visit an Egyptian Villa where we will have our late

  lunch/early dinner Egyptian Homemade food.

Day 5: Monday June 19 - Overnight on Nile Luxury Ship

• Early flight to Aswan (included in package)

• Visit Philae temple

• Feluca and Motor Boat ride on Nile River to Nubian Village. Spending the day with our Nubian friends!

• Board ship

Day 6: Tuesday June 20 - Overnight on Nile Luxury Ship

• Free Morning

• Visit the Kôm Ombo Temple

  
  

Day 7: Wednesday June 21 - Overnight on Nile Luxury Ship

• Disembark and visit one of the most well-preserved Edfu Temple

• Sailing to Luxor

• Visit the Luxor Temple by night where it is beautifully lit to show all the details of the hieroglyphics. See the 1.5 mile avenue of the Sphinxes

Day 8: Thursday June 22 - Overnight on Nile Luxury Ship

• Disembark and visit the historical Karnak Temple

• Optional additional side trip: Hot Air Balloon Ride (see add-ons)

• Optional Valley of the Kings

• Flight back to Cairo (included in package)

Day 9: Friday June 23 - Overnight in Cairo

• Visit Mosques and Coptic Churches

• Khan Khalili Bazaar

Day 10: Saturday June 24 - Departure Day

• Departures all arranged with a private driver.
