Seoul, Korea : Dec 27, 2025 - Jan 3, 2026

South Korea is the Land of the Morning Calm, a country that represents the peaceful and harmonious nature of the country and its people, as well as its cultural heritage and traditions. The Korea Teach With Love program is a unique way for educators to humanize learning. We've created an experience full of cultural enrichment, innovation, cultural exchanges, collaboration and a global perspective.

Liz Kleinrock, a Korean-American Thought Leader, is enthusiastic about showcasing her affection for her country of origin. By immersing ourselves in non-Eurocentric perspectives of dominant value systems, beliefs, and customs, we can learn and grow in a meaningful and enlightening manner. This approach allows us to engage with the world, broaden our horizons, and develop a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and ways of life.

Our entire approach for the program will incorporate Teach With Love's L.O.V.E. Framework and culturally informed principles, with guidance from our Thought Leaders. Our philosophy is centered around seeking knowledge through ongoing, hopeful inquiry with the world and each other, as proposed by Paulo Freire, the author of "Pedagogy of the Oppressed." Throughout the program, we aim to immerse ourselves in every experience, expand our cultural understanding, forge meaningful connections, and return home with a renewed commitment to using L.O.V.E. as the foundation for culturally informed teaching.

Limited to: 10 educators
Program Length: 8 Days, 7 Nights
Physical Level: Moderate/High (many steps at Temples and subway stations.)
Arrive Into: ICN Seoul, Korea

What's included:

  • 100% of proceeds go to helping our (women and BIPOC owned) organization’s mission to elevate underserved educators by developing new leadership where none existed and to give opportunities to underserved students to travel the world. We’re funded through sponsors and our Immersive Trips that serve ALL educators of all Races, Ethnicities, Genders, etc. (See our TWL mission for more info.)

  • For teachers, this is a revolutionary way of thinking about teaching in a classroom. Being immersed in a new culture and language provides a unique perspective, enhanced by our teacher framework. This structure helps you reflect on your experiences and integrate these values back into your classroom with students.

This approach is ideal, especially relevant in the current educational climate in the United States, where many educators struggle to remain in the profession. This rejuvenating experience will re-humanize learning for you, providing a deeper understanding of what it means to Lift Others' Voices Every day (L.O.V.E.). That's the essence of our framework.

You don't just learn a concept from a book; you live it out and practice it. During our program, there will be moments where we, as thought leaders, engaged participants with reflective questions: How do you see the application of the love framework in real-time?

This program is ideal for any location and is perfect for educators and leaders who want to remain in the field, offering not just a refreshing experience but also practical tools for classroom application.
