TEACH WITH LOVE® Scholarships to
International Education Programs
Our Mission: A grassroots organization whose focus is to Lift Others Voices Everyday® (L.O.V.E.). Through our program proceeds, Teach With Love provides two opportunities to elevate underserved teachers and students to develop new leadership where none existed.
THE PROBLEMS OUR SCHOLARSHIPS SOLVE
Teach To Lead (TTL) Program Scholarships: Studies have shown that teachers of color have a higher financial burden than their white peers. Today, Black and Latinx teachers are acutely underrepresented outside of urban schools and highly lacking in representation in upper level leadership and edu consultant positions which creates an imbalance of voice and power. With your sponsorship, we are able to offer funding for disenfranchised teachers to attend professional development as well as provide resources and access to opportunities, which is needed for growth and advancement (elevation) of educators and educational leaders.
Global Student Program Scholarships: Students, our future world leaders and change-makers, from disenfranchised communities are not given global opportunities and cultural interactions abroad, due to lack of accessibility and lack of access to funding. Underserved and “underestimated”, our students must overcome financial hurdles that are just not attainable to do alone. With your sponsorship, we open doors to so much more than just a global travel experience, but we give them social capital that will maximize their educational success.
“Our students are future UN Leaders, Presidents, Change-makers, People of Influence, and just really great humans in the making. When they see our community, who looks like them, working hard to give them access to a quality educational experience that reduces inequalities and promotes lifelong learning (SDG’s), when given a chance of doing something they never knew was even attainable, then everything else they ever dreamed of doing becomes possible.” -Taína Benitez
