Introducing Teach To Lead Mentorship Program

Working with several leaders in the education industry around the world, TWL will give you access and resources to help you build your dream edu leadership career or edu-business that you deserve, whether you’re dipping your toes or ready to hit that phase of scale and growth into the world of administration or an Edu business.

Whether 1:1 or in a cohort, this is participation in a private, exclusive community of other Educators and future community builders who are ready to take that next step with you, and help you along the way.

You’ll receive critical tools to take your goals forward, bi-weekly workshops and practical applications, as well as accountability and support to meet your goals, while also helping you find that essential life balance that we all hunger for.

What does a TTL Cohort look like?

A family. The good kind. The kind that doesn’t say “Yay me, but, why just me.” The kind that will elevate others without being asked and will mention your name in a room whenever the opportunity arises.

If you are in a cohort, it is a small limited group of 4-6. We meet bi-weekly on Weeknights. (Times to be voted on by cohort, see below.) Each meeting we’ll highlight a different member of the group and “workshop” solutions for their vision, while also learning valuable lessons centered around important themes. We will also offer a private coaching session with your mentor, where she can look at the scope of your vision, understand where the holes are, and brainstorm solutions.

Each month or so we’ll bring in a special guest speaker to share their story and experience building a prosperous leadership career or edu-business with lessons you can use throughout your career.

What does a 1:1 look like?

A private coaching session with your mentor, where she can look at the scope of your vision, understand where the holes are, and brainstorm solutions. Although you will meet with your mentor !:1, you are still part of the TWL community. Meetings are fully customized to your schedule.

Why are we different from a traditional PD?

When you’re busy doing something you love for the right reason, there’s no space for others doubts and negative opinions.

Our meetings are not like traditional PD because it’s all about intention. Intention determines perspective. It allows you to stick to your purpose + mission or helping to find your purpose + mission and the strength to keep going.

It’s about looking forward to our meetings, rather than dreading them.

It’s about finding a healthy balance between who you are at work and who you are when you aren’t working, so that your self-worth isn’t determined by merely your Edu success (or failure).

It’s about looking back on your life and finding meaning because you not only did something you are passionate about, but something that allowed you to have that purpose + mission.

Instead, it’s going to teach you how to create a lifelong, lasting career in leadership or an edu-business that fuels your soul and makes a difference in the lives of disenfranchised students.

You’ll get your “unofficial MBA or M.Ed” as you learn how to identify your true purpose, build your leadership career or edu-business strategy.

You’ll develop the “soft skills” that actually make organizations work, like how to hire, manage, and create systems, plus tools and resources that you won’t be able to live without as a leader in Edu.

And you’ll also learn lessons that will take you outside of the workplace, like time management, task organization, and prioritization, especially if you’re a working parent or have other responsibilities on your plate.
